About Keystone Response & Restoration
A restoration operator, a custom home builder, and one number that gets answered — the Hill Country company Joe McCrary and Zane Lewis II opened in Kingsland in 2026.
Built in the Texas Hill Country
Why Keystone exists
Joe McCrary was running operations for a large restoration company in DFW when he felt led to bring that experience to the Texas Hill Country and build a restoration company of his own. In 2026, he partnered with longtime custom home builder and pastor Zane Lewis II to open Keystone Response & Restoration in Kingsland — one local team, one number, answered around the clock.
Together, Joe and Zane built Keystone around a simple idea: when disaster affects your home, you shouldn’t have to coordinate multiple companies to put everything back together.
Joe holds licenses and certifications in mold remediation, asbestos, water mitigation, and fire restoration. Combined with Zane’s extensive construction experience, Keystone has the expertise to take a property from the initial emergency response all the way through reconstruction. The same team that identifies and removes the damage can be there to put your home back together.
Water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, trauma cleanup, and complete reconstruction all stay under one roof — serving families and businesses throughout Kingsland, Marble Falls, Llano, Burnet, Horseshoe Bay, and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

Joe McCrary
Co-Founder · Restoration Operations
Ran operations for a large restoration company in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex before he felt led to bring that experience to the Texas Hill Country and build a company of his own.
Joe holds licenses and certifications in mold remediation, asbestos, water mitigation and fire restoration — the range that lets one team carry a loss from the first moisture reading to the last. He still walks the losses himself.

How we work
Three things we hold to on every job
A person answers the phone
2 a.m. on a holiday counts. The line is answered live rather than by a service that takes a message and calls you back after sunrise.
Every reading is written down
Moisture mapping, drying logs and photographs are recorded as the work happens and handed to your adjuster — not reconstructed from memory at the end.
One crew, extraction to paint
The same team that identifies and removes the damage is there to put your home back together — Joe's restoration licensing and Zane's custom home-building experience on one crew. No subcontractor handoffs, no second company to chase.
Licensed and insured for mold remediation, asbestos, water mitigation and fire restoration. If you want the license numbers or a certificate of insurance before a crew rolls, ask on the call — we will send them.

(325) 248-7003Keystone is owned by Joe McCrary and Zane Lewis II, who opened the company in 2026 and run it out of 450 South Dr in Kingsland, Texas. Joe ran operations for a large Dallas–Fort Worth restoration company before bringing that experience to the Hill Country. Zane is a longtime custom home builder — owner and operator of King Green Builders, which he founded in 2018 — and a pastor.
Joe holds licenses and certifications in mold remediation, asbestos, water mitigation and fire restoration, and the company is insured. Combined with Zane’s extensive construction experience, that is what lets one team take a property from the initial emergency response all the way through reconstruction instead of splitting it between companies.
The same company. Zane has built custom homes since 2018 through King Green Builders, so framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim and paint are handled by Keystone rather than handed to an outside contractor once the mitigation work is finished.
No. Water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, trauma cleanup and complete reconstruction all stay under one roof. Joe and Zane built Keystone around the idea that when disaster affects your home, you should not have to coordinate multiple companies to put everything back together.

Yes — the emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Water and smoke keep spreading overnight, so a crew can be assessing and containing the damage before business hours ever start.
Yes. Documentation is built for your adjuster from day one — scope, moisture readings, drying logs and photographs — recorded as the work happens so the paperwork keeps moving while the crews stay on the job.
